BLOIS
Blois is a city 40 minutes from Amboise. This was Jamison's last area of his mission where he had served for 3 months with Elder Smith. This is where they met Andrew who was baptized June 17th. It was really fun for our family to go back and meet Andrew and all the people that Jamison had met at church and the city of Blois. People in the stores and cafes knew and loved Elder Jones. We had some run out of there businesses to say Bonjour to him . It was wonderful going to the small branch on Sunday. We met many wonderful and kind people who had served Jamison while he was on his mission.

Jason, Jamison, Andrew and the new missionaries in Blois. We spent the day with Andrew.
Jason had been there only 2 weeks before as a missionary.

Jamison became good friends with the people who owned this store. They were very kind to him while he was a missionary in Blois. It was fun for our family to meet them.

The store owner ran out to see us when he saw Elder Jones again. This was a barber shop where Jamison would get his hair cut.
Jamison and Elder Smith loved sliding down these railings

THE BLOIS BRANCH
On Sunday July 3rd, we went to church in Blois where Jamison served. It was testimony meeting and we met so many wonderful members like Patrick and Carol and their family. We met many other wonderful members who helped Jamison while he was on his mission. They greeted us all with "bisous" ( 2 kisses for everyone) and Jamison bore his testimony during the service. We loved the feeling from the members.

Saying Goodbye to Andrew at the Blois Branch

Abby met a sister missionary who had served in the New Caledonia mission. That is where Heather Chard is serving and Alysee is from!!
We brought an authentic dream catcher for Jamison's friend, Maggie. It was fun meeting and talking with her right outside of Blois.
Traveling down south from Amboise (by Tours) to Dordonge. We stayed in a little city called Sarlat. It is close to the Dordogne river.

PARIS

We stayed close to the the Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de St. Louis.
Jason dropped off our car close to the hospital and we followed Jamison around while he guided us through Paris on the metro and RER. It made everything extremely helpful to have him speaking fluent French and guide us around the city. It helped that he served in Cergy and Torcy as both cities were so close to Paris and he'd go there on his pdays.

We went past the Notre Dame Cathedral every day!

We loved this Ward. The people were so kind. We had the Pettitt family interpret for us. Nadja and Hugh were so gracious. Their kids helped interpret during Young Women's as well. It was an amazing day with the members. Jamison gave out gifts: Tab Choir CD's, Pancake mix, beef jerky, peanut butter and pop tarts. One 14 year old boy asked how long we needed to refrigerate pop tarts:)
